A Meyer Lemon Update!

Our indoor meyer lemon plant has new blossoms! And in the dead of winter too, which is such an amazing feat!

And the three existing lemons on the plant are slowly ripening.

I read online that meyer lemons take anywhere from 6 to 10 months to mature. We've been waiting so patiently, but then we saw some Meyer lemons on sale at the grocery store and we gave in and bought a bag.

These mature lemons are slightly more orange in color and shiny on the outside. They are sweeter than your typical lemons, and I can't wait to use them in this recipe!
